Preparation in the Thermomix
- 1
Place 500 g low-fat quark, 415 g wheat flour, 1 1/4 tsp baking powder and 1 tsp salt in the mixing bowl and knead Dough mode/2 min.
- 2
Take the dough out of the mixing bowl, shape into a ball, wrap in cling film and leave to rest for approx. 10 minutes. Rinse the mixing bowl.
- 3
Place 120 g passata, pepper to taste and garlic powder to taste in the mixing bowl and mix 10 sec/speed 3. Transfer the sauce into a small bowl.
- 4
Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and roll out into rounds on a floured work surface.
- 5
On each piece of dough, first add 20 g low-fat grated cheese (160 g in total). Then spread 1 tablespoon of the seasoned tomato sauce on top and sprinkle with 15 g diced ham each (120 g in total).
- 6
Seal the edges of the dough firmly over the filling and press the pockets slightly flat.
- 7
Heat a little oil or oil spray in a pan over medium to high heat and sear the pockets on both sides for 2-3 minutes each, until golden brown spots form.

Preheat the oven to 180°C fan. Place the seared pockets on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake for 12-15 minutes, until the dough is fully cooked through. Serve warm.
