Delete your account

You can delete your Thermify account yourself at any time, in the app or on thermify.ai. Here is how it works and what happens to your data afterwards.

First: what happens to a subscription

If you subscribed to Plus through us, we take care of it: after deletion it stops renewing and ends with the month you have already paid for. There is no pro-rata refund.

If your subscription runs through the App Store or Google Play, we cannot end it for you. Please cancel it first in your device's subscription settings.

This matters because you can no longer reach those settings once the account is deleted.

How to delete your account

Sign in to your account, in the app or on thermify.ai.
Open your profile.
Go to the "Danger zone" section and choose "Permanently delete account".
Confirm in the dialog. Your account is deactivated immediately and you are signed out.

What happens immediately

Your account is deactivated. You can no longer sign in or convert recipes.
Your remaining credits expire, including a partly used month.
Your referral code is released and can be reassigned.

What we keep

Your account record and the recipes you converted stay stored for now, so that billing and abuse remain traceable.

Invoices and payment records must be kept for ten years under German tax law (§ 147 AO). This applies whether or not your account still exists.

Request full erasure

You have a right to erasure under Art. 17 GDPR. Write to us at info@thermify.ai, ideally from the address you signed up with. We will then delete everything we are not legally required to keep, and confirm once it is done.
